ICEYE named one of Via Satellite’s 10 Hottest Companies for 2025

Helsinki, Finland - February 18, 2025 - ICEYE, the global leader in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite operations for high-fidelity Earth Observation, has been named one of Via Satellite’s 10 Hottest Companies for 2025. The recognition spotlights ICEYE’s groundbreaking advancements in SAR technology and the world's largest commercial SAR satellite constellation, delivering high-resolution, all-weather, and near real-time imaging for critical applications such as defense and intelligence, disaster response, and insurance.  ICEYE has experienced rapid growth since its founding in 2014 and the company has a strong global presence globally, with offices in Finland, Poland, Spain, the UK, Australia, Japan, UAE, Greece, and the United States. It has an international team of over 700 employees.

ICEYE's impact extends across global security and defense sectors. Its imagery is actively utilized on the frontlines of the war in Ukraine. The company collaborates closely with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, providing vital intelligence. Additionally, it is contributing to the development of the UAE's Earth observation capabilities through a partnership with Space42. In the past year, it introduced Dwell Precise, a new 25 cm imaging mode offering customers the industry’s highest fidelity 25 cm imaging capability, adding advanced functionality to ICEYE's Dwell product line. ICEYE also launched an API that allows customers to directly task its SAR satellite constellation and introduced ICEYE Ocean Vision Detect to provide actionable intelligence for maritime domain awareness.
